Lewis Cass (October 9, 1782- June 17, 1866) was an American soldier, politician, and the fifth Prime Minister of theUnion of Royal American States. One of his ancestors was a Briton who fought against the forces Sir Diccens, Sir Marcus Augustus Dickens' ancestor, during the Norman Invasion of England in 1066.
